Position Summary
Simplified Integrations is hiring an experienced Senior Fire Alarm Tech who can independently troubleshoot, service, inspect, and repair fire alarm and low-voltage life safety systems. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in clean, compliant work, communicates professionally, and thrives in an autonomous, accountability-driven environment.

This is not a trainee role. You’ll be trusted to do things right, escalate when appropriate, and represent SI with professionalism. Leadership pathways (Crew Lead, Trainer) are available for techs who deliver quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently install, troubleshoot, inspect, and repair fire alarm, sprinkler monitoring, CO/gas detection, access control, and surveillance systems
  • Complete quarterly, annual, and 5-year inspections
  • Diagnose and correct system deficiencies with minimal direction
  • Interpret risers, schematics, and construction drawings
  • Commission devices and operate test equipment
  • Submit real-time digital documentation (photos, materials, notes, updates)
  • Maintain clear communication with dispatch, leadership, and customers
  • Meet NFPA, AHJ, and SI quality and compliance standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Mentor techs and support training as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and follow all PPE/safety protocols
Qualifications
  • 7+ years Fire Alarm / Life Safety experience
  • Strong troubleshooting ability is required
  • Blue Card required; NICET II preferred — experience equivalent accepted
  • Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record
  • Strong communication and customer-facing professionalism
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 75 lbs
  • Work overhead, at heights, and in confined spaces
  • Tolerate seasonal outdoor conditions
Compensation & Benefits
$40–$50/hr depending on experience & certifications
